Pelham Bay Little League has been a cornerstone of our community since 1954, providing children with a positive outlet through baseball and softball. These sports have proven to instill discipline, structure, and confidence in young athletes, traits that will serve them well throughout their lives. The league is dedicated to supporting the development of its players and creating a positive impact on the community. The benefits of participating in sports are numerous and long-lasting, and Pelham Bay Little League is committed to creating a community league that emphasizes the importance of friendship, family, and fitness. By bringing families and neighbors together through a shared passion for baseball and softball, the league fosters a sense of community that extends far beyond the field. At Pelham Bay Little League, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to play and learn from these great American pastimes. We are proud to serve our community and look forward to continuing to positively impact the lives of our young players.
Pelham Bay Little League & Softball – Season Structure
Our league is open to players ages 4 through 18, with divisions designed to ensure age-appropriate development:
T-Ball: Ages 4–6
8U: Ages 7–8
10U: Ages 9–10
12U: Ages 11–12
High School Division: Ages 13–18
Each season is built around the goal of having teams meet a minimum total of 20 times, which will be a combination of games and practices.
At the start of every season, each team will be given both their practice schedule and game schedule. This way, families know exactly what to expect throughout the season.
T-Ball: This division plays scheduled games only (no playoffs).
8U and Older Divisions:
These divisions include both games and playoffs. If a season overlaps—such as when playoff games begin in the spring and continue into the summer—those games count toward your team’s seasonal total of 20 meetings.
Payment Deadlines
All seasonal dues must be paid in full before a player can participate in games or practices.
Payments are due by:
Spring Season: April 1
Summer Season: July 1
Fall Season: September 1
Winter Clinics: December 1
Spaces are limited, and registration is handled on a first come, first serve basis.
